  • Collaborating with the Head Designer to facilitate each step of the development process,
  • Using Procreate and Fashion Draw to design ideas, prints and embroidery illustrations by hand;
  • Creating and producing designs based on market research and WGSN– sketching by hand, Procreate or trade sketches using Adobe Illustrator;
  • Using photoshop to edit images, creating repetitive and placement prints and mood boards;
  • Translating initial concept, inspiration and sketches into CAD sketches and communicating design details via technical packs for suppliers and garment technicians;
  • Creating print and embroidery packs focusing on scale, placement and colour ways, assisting with approving strike offs;
  • Communicating regularly with Garment Technicians and the Head Designer to ensure CAD’s, information and measurement specs are representative of the intended design and reflect changes made throughout the development process;
  • Assisting with fabric development, approving lab dips and confirmations of bulk fabrics, liaising with offshore suppliers as required;
  • Assisting with coordination of SMS tracking and distribution, following up with suppliers and logistics where necessary to ensure adherence to timeline;
  • Preparing, uploading and proof checking styles on Indigo8 (Glass);
  • Creating HS & GS1 code requests, style and selling details reports
  • Creating look books and brand books representative of the brand image and voice using Adobe InDesign;
  • Creating and completing the Range Master Sheet - an inclusive document sent to suppliers regarding trim sourcing, lining, fusing weight, binding and any additional garment information per each style
  • Completing sourcing emails and documents to sent to supplier
  • Assisting Marketing for content creation and filming the design process.
